FishkeepingCo is written by working aquarists — people who run their own fish rooms, planted tanks, and reef systems outside of putting the magazine together. Every care guide, setup walkthrough, and equipment breakdown is checked against current husbandry practice before it runs, and updated when the guidance changes.
We cover four areas: fish care for specific species, tank setup for people starting or expanding a system, aquascaping technique for anyone building a planted or hardscape layout, and equipment guidance for filters, lighting, and heating. We'd rather publish fewer, more specific articles than pad the site with generic advice that could apply to any pet.
